About Mike

Born in the small West Texas town of Sweetwater, Michael Molini is a third generation musician who developed a passion for music at an early age. It was very clear that “music” was in his blood and inevitable that he would soon follow the footsteps of his Father and late Grandfather.

At the age of 13, Michael began his first “paying gig” playing keyboards for various local bands at private weddings, private parties, festivals, and other events. After graduating high school, he moved to San Antonio and enrolled at The University of Texas where he majored in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Chemistry. While in school, Michael simultaneously entered the professional circuit where he played with several Tejano bands and recorded two Latin Grammy Nominated Albums.  Throughout his career, Michael not only broadened his skills as a keyboardist, but also developed a great talent for recording, producing, and arranging.

As of 2007, Michael has been touring with Grupo Vida “aka” The Electric Cowboys, a three time Grammy nominated group from San Antonio, Texas.  The band currently thrives in both Tejano and Country markets.  As the band looks to break into the Country market fulltime, Michael has already shared the stage with Country Stars, Eli Young Band, Kevin Fowler, Aaron Watson, Jack Ingram, and Restless Heart. Video Biography coming on Micheal Molini Soon.
